Community Courts: Safe Harbor Court

The Safe Harbor Court was named after its purpose, which is to provide a venue where individuals can speak with a Judge without fear of arrest regarding their inability to pay as a result of indigency or other hardships.

Individuals will be required to provide documentation or proof of their hardship(s) or the issues preventing them from complying with a Court Order. Upon review, if the Judge finds sufficient evidence of hardship, they can take advantage of various alternative resolution options in lieu of payment.
