March 02, 2026 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash in the 2000 block of Antoine Drive about 6:30 p.m. on Sunday (March 1).

The identity of the deceased male, 30, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant V. Vo and Officer D. Ortega reported:

A black Suzuki GSX600 was travelling northbound at the above addressed when the motorcyclist lost control and crashed into a utility pole. The motorcycle caught fire. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the male to an area hospital where doctors pronounced him deceased.

There were no other vehicles or persons involved.

The investigation is ongoing.
