March 02, 2026 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash in the 7000 block of Stella Link Road about 9:10 p.m. on February 28.

The deceased male is identified as Mark Sacra, 40.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant M. Barrow and Officer T. Johnson reported:

A black Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling southbound at the address when the vehicle failed maintain a single lane. The vehicle then struck a curb and struck multiple objects.  The vehicle came to a stop once it struck a tree.  Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the driver to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

No other vehicles or persons were involved.

The investigation is ongoing.
