March 02, 2026 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 11450 Bissonnet Street about 10:25 p.m. on Friday (Feb. 27).

The identity of the deceased male, 25, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Roberts and Detective J. Wallschlaeger reported:

Officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address and located a male in the entrance of a unit suffering from a gunshot wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the male deceased at the scene.

The investigation remains ongoing.
