June 16, 2026 - Houston police need the public's help locating a person of interested wanted for questioning in the fatal stabbing of a male found at 10010 Cullen Boulevard about 3:45 p.m. on May 6.

The person of interest is identified as Larry Dennis, 35. A photo of Dennis, who is char charged, is attached to this news release.

The victim is identified as Marcus Magee, 44.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Garcia and G. Herrera reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a welfare check at an apartment at the above address. Inside the apartment, officers located an unresponsive male who had suffered an apparent stab wound. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Further investigation identified Dennis as a person of interest. Detectives would like to speak with Dennis about any information he has regarding the death of Mr. Magee.
