June 10, 2026 - Charges have been filed against two suspects wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 10055 Belknap Road that occurred about 1 p.m. on June 6.

The suspects, Iddris Umaru, 23, and Axzey Mojica, 22 are charged with murder in Fort Bend County. Photos of both Umaru and Mojica, who are not in custody, are attached to this news release.

Also attached is a surveillance photo of the suspects fleeing the scene.

The victim is identified as Sean Bree, 39.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives J. Smith and D. Toledo reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call in the parking lot of a strip center at the above address and located a male with a gunshot wound. The victim was later pronounced deceased at an area hospital.

Investigators quickly identified Umaru and Mojica as persons of interest in this case. Further investigation identified both of them as suspects and they were charged on Tuesday (June 9).
