June 10, 2026 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a female found at 2300 Caroline Street about 6:35 a.m. today.

The identity and cause of death of the female is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives H. Martinez and S. Chettry reported:

Officers responded to a report of a person down at the above address and located an unresponsive female. The female's body had signs of trauma. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced her deceased at the scene.

The investigation is pending the female's cause of death, to be determined by an autopsy.
