September 5, 2025 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man at 12010 Kuykendahl Road about 5:50 a.m. on Thursday (Sept. 4).

The suspect, Jeremy Davidson, 36, is charged with murder in the 183rd Criminal District Court. A booking photo of Davidson is attached to this news release.

The identity of the victim, 38, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Lamont and Detective C. Flora reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to an assault call at a business at the above address and found an unresponsive male in a room. Paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.

Officers learned there had been a disturbance between the victim and two others at the business the previous evening. The disturbance continued into the early morning and resulted in the fatal shooting.

Investigators consulted the Harris County District Attorney's office and the shooting suspect, Davidson, was charged, arrested and booked into the Harris county jail.

The investigation is ongoing.
