October 6, 2025 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 7301 East Freeway (East Interstate Highway 10) about 2:25 a.m. on Sunday (Oct. 5).

The victim is identified as Farrah Daniels, 45.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Dallas and Officer D. Thompson reported:

A gray Jeep Gladiator was traveling eastbound near the above address when it struck a blue Nissan Sentra. The Nissan was stopped in a moving lane of traffic without any hazard lights. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the female driver of the Nissan deceased at the scene.

The male driver, 31, of the Jeep remained at the scene, did not show signs of intoxication, and was questioned and released.

The investigation is ongoing.
