November 25, 2025 - Houston police are investigating a fatal hit and run crash in the 6000 block of Richmond Avenue about 3:35 a.m. today.

The identity of the deceased female is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant A. Patterson and N. Kumar reported:

An unknown white sedan drove across the median on Richmond Avenue and Fountain View Drive while making a left turn. The vehicle struck a female pedestrian and the driver did not stop to render aid. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the female deceased at the scene.
