November 17, 2025 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 700 West Loop North (West Interstate Highway 610 North) about 12:55 a.m. today (November 17).

The identity of the deceased male, 38, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rose and Officer J. Quezada reported:

A Maroon Lexus ES350 was driving the wrong way southbound on the entrance ramp at the above address. The Lexus collided head-on with a white Toyota Sienna going the right way. Houston Fire Department pronounced the driver of the Lexus deceased at the scene. The driver of the Toyota was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing.
