November 10, 2025 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male that occurred at 9520 Homestead Road about 4pm on Sunday (November 9).

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Herrera and P. Michon reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call in a parking lot at the above address. Officers located a male suffering at least one gunshot wound and responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.

Witnesses stated a verbal altercation led to the shooting. At this time, there is no known suspect(s).
