June 23, 2025 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 16500 Imperial Valley Drive at about 8:10 p.m. on Sunday (June 22).

The identity of the deceased male, 49, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Dallas and Officer V. Taylor reported:

The driver of a gray Toyota Tacoma was traveling southbound near the above address when the driver ran the red light striking the operator of a gray Harley-Davidson FLT motorcycle. As a result of the collision, the operator of the motorcycle was ejected and the Toyota Tacoma veered off the roadway onto a curb under the overpass, striking a concrete barrier.

The operator of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics

The female driver of the Toyota Tacoma was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing.
