December 23, 2025 - Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 1600 North Durham Drive about 1:20 a.m. today (Dec. 23).

The identity of the deceased female, 23, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Dallas and Officer N. Solomon reported:

The driver of a black Nissan Altima was traveling at high rate of speed near the above address when the driver struck a curb, left the roadway and struck a building. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the driver deceased at the scene. 

No other vehicles or persons were involved in this crash.

The investigation is ongoing.
