December 5, 2025 - Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 7400 Memorial Drive about 8 p.m. on Thursday (December 4).

The identity of the deceased male, 17, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant M. Sudduth and Officer C. Brothers reported:

A silver Honda Accord was traveling at a high rate of speed northbound at the above address when it struck a white Toyota Corolla. The impact caused the Corolla to cross a large grassy median before coming to a stop.

The driver of the Honda was pronounced deceased at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics. The male driver, 34, of the Corolla was transported to an area hospital

The investigation is continuing.
