Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 4655 Wild Indigo Street

August 7, 2025 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a woman that occurred at 4655 Wild Indigo Street about 3:15 a.m. on Wednesday (August 6).

The suspect, Ismael Holguin, 35, is charged with murder and evading arrest in the 248th State District Court. A booking photo of Holguin is attached to this news release.

The identity of the deceased female, 32, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Elsbury and Detective D. Arnold reported:

Officers responded to a report of shooting at an apartment complex at the above address and found an unresponsive female in the parking lot. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to the hospital, where doctors pronounced her deceased.

Further investigation identified the suspect as Ismael Holguin, the victim's husband. Officers located the suspect vehicle in the 15000 block of Tinker Street. Officers attempted a traffic stop, however, the driver evaded, initiating a pursuit.

Ismael Holguin was later taken into custody, booked into the Harris County Jail and subsequently charged.
