December 4, 2024 - Charges have been filed against a second suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man found deceased at 7575 Office City Drive about 4:20 p.m. on October 20.

The juvenile suspect, 16, has been referred to Harris County Juvenile Probation authorities on a aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge. Juvenile suspect names and booking photos are not releasable.

Another suspect, Juan Vasquez, 17, is in custody and charged with murder in the 488th State District Court. Vasquez is also now charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the same court. A booking photo of Vasquez is attached to this news release.

The victim is identified as Brayan Rodriguez Baltodano, 24.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives P. Michon and C. Davidson reported:

Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at the apartment complex at the above address and found a male unresponsive in the front passenger seat of a vehicle. He had suffered at least one gunshot wound. Paramedics were called and pronounced the man, later identified as Mr. Rodriguez Baltodano, deceased.

Further investigation developed Vasquez as a suspect in this shooting. Officers with the HPD Eastside Patrol Division Crime Suppression Team arrested Vasquez on November 13. He was subsequently charged for his role in this incident.

Additional investigation identified the juvenile as a suspect in this case and, on Tuesday (December 3), he was subsequently charged for his role in the incident.
